About

 Your Clothes

Being as sustainable as possible is a constantly evolving goal for Mischief & Mirth. Achieving sustainability can mean many different things to a small brand.

As a small brand that produces in small batches we are able to produce far less waste. But we acknowledge that there is always room to improve.

We try to never over produce, and never make more clothes than are going to be desired and cared for by you. For tips on making sure you can treasure and cherish your clothes forever see our "mending and caring" section.

 Our Team

Mischief & Mirth has a responsibility and obligation to ensuring the clothes you wear are made ethically. Our manufacturing partner, located in Jiangyin City, Jiangsu province, China, exemplifies the highest standards of social compliance concerning ethics, health, safety, fair wage and workers rights.

They are Gold WRAP Certified and a member of BSCI.

 Promises to You

Being small and new, we know that we have very few examples of inclusion and diversity. So here, we'd like to make a few promises.

We will value body, race and disability visibility. We will always strive to be inclusive in our vision.

Greater supply chain transparency. If there are any answers you don't find here, ask us about it at myauntmyrtle@mischiefandmirth.com. We just need to know what you guys would like to see here.

 Land Acknowledgment

Mischief and Mirth acknowledges that the land we reside, and work on, is the ancestral homeland of the Pawtucket, Massachusett, Nipmuc, and Wampanoag tribal nations. They have lived on this land, protected it and held it sacred for many thousands of years before settlers arrived.

We acknowledge the painful history of genocide and forced removal from this territory and the ongoing violence perpetuated against Indigenous peoples across the world.

We also believe that a land acknowledgment alone is not enough; but is an important first step in representing Indigenous rights in our communities.  There are so many more areas that need our attention.

To engage further with issues facing various Indigenous communities across Turtle Island/North America, please, see the following links and organizations.

The first step, is to learn whose land you are on.
